The Early Jesuit Missions in North America William Ingraham Kip 1866 HC ex-lib
Ex-library. Call numbers on spine. Spine slant. Shaken spine. Scuffing, soiling, staining to boards and spine. Head, toe, corners are bumped and chipped. Edges exhibit heavy soiling, scuffing, tanning and library markings. Pastedowns and flyleaves are scuffed and soiled. Pencil markings, tear, and staining on front flyleaf. Library markings on title page, page 51, and page 324. Borrower’s sleeve on back flyleaf. Tanning to pages with sporadic staining, foxing, soiling. I didn’t notice any defects or intrusive markings to the interior pages that would hinder readability. Note: In my opinion, this book seems like it was published in 1866, however, I was puzzled by the minimal tanning and foxing to the pages. I haven’t found any books with this copyright date. Nor have I found any reprints that have the appearance of this book. The reprints that I have found on-line were modern paperback or modern leatherbound.
